Spandex is cool, right?
I can now let you all know that I am, indeed, back at NCsoft Europe - just not GW or GW2. I'm currently settling into City of Heroes / Villains .

On one hand, it's a shame - I'm sure that they could use you on the GW2 project. However, it's quite a boon for CoH/V!
Welcome back, Alex.

I didn't really like City of Heroes much. "Heals a little." "Damages a little and reduced target's defence slightly." "EXTREME DAMAGE to all nearby enemies!"
The extreme damaging skills were some of the most underwhelming from what I hear.
It was apparently a design decision because people might be "intimidated" by all the numbers, or something to that effect. Gameplay isn't actually seriously affected, it just annoys me to have such vague descriptions.
Worst thing I remember about CoH are the Circle of Thorns kamikaze guys. I hate self-destruct monsters that deal heavy damage, and give you no reward for their own death. Whoever decides to add them to games should get slapped around with a fish for a while. Like I want to walk into an area, have monsters walk up to me, blow themselves up, and even if I live, I get nothing for it!
Anyway, congratulations on the job.

I didn't get to really experience much, but I didn't want to.
I created an account and downloaded the game when it went free, and just couldn't get into the controls. I've played other 3d, more fast-paced action mmorpg's and I still couldn't get comfortable.

- Get a grappling hook at shoot at the air duct. Use your laser pen to open it. Take a left after the 1st passage and head down. Jump out the window and deploy your parachute and run fast avoiding the cameras to the next building. Avoid the guards at this point. Then use your suction cups to climb the GW building. There should be a weak worker working at his desk on the 5th floor. Take him out and steal the key. Next put on the mask and search the floor for the bosses room. Throw the boss out of the room and lock the door with the key. Now hack his computer and give us a spoiler of GW2
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Or you could get up and walk out the door. Say hello to Bob the security guard and walk to the next building. Ask the help desk where the "boss" is. Go to his door and knock on it saying the magic words. "Can I put a spoiler on the GWguru site. Just to make them go nuts when they see a picture from GW2? It would just make them more curious about it. Make them want it more."
If you get a spoiler on this forum from GW2. Somewhere a baby will laugh!

I did try to get in to CoH but I just couldn't, for the reason that I can't create a character that resemble a Green Lantern, Hal Jordan one not the other 3. Couldn't create the look, the outfit not to mention the power ring, I guess the tecnology doesn't allow the player to have a power that turn thoughts into things yet. :P
